What makes a good "defensive" levergun?

Now we are talking. I could see myself getting one of these as a nice brush gun in .338Fed or .358Win. Bolt locks into barrel extension like AR15 so it should be easy to spin up another barrel. Heck, one could even craft an integrally suppressed tube for 8.6 Blackout in lieu of a barrel with...

    Recession - 2022 / 2023 / 2024

Just a reminder: In fiscal year 2022, the federal government spent $1.19 trillion on more than 80 different welfare programs. That represents almost 20% of total federal spending and a quarter of tax revenues in 2022 or $9,000 spent per American household. (Source)

    Recession - 2022 / 2023 / 2024

Entities like Blackrock and REITs are certainly a factor but I think the low supply right now is primarily caused by nobody selling because most will have to refi to a higher rate. The majority on the market right now is some seriously overpriced stuff that has not moved for 90days+. Any new...

    Recession - 2022 / 2023 / 2024

The mortgage rates are not the problem. We have dealt with significant higher rates. https://infogram.com/br-historical-mortgage-rates-1h7j4dv0pkzw94n What makes the American Dream a nightmare for many is that the increase in house prices and inflation have outpaced by far the measly wage...

Kevin McCarthy: GOP Votes to Repeal Army of 87,000 IRS Agents as Its ‘Very First Act of the New Congress’

And McCarthy (RINO) gave Biden a blank check by suspending the debt ceiling until January 2025. So the Dims can spend money like drunk sailors wrecking this country until they get their next puppet in the WH.

What makes a good "defensive" levergun?

You could have just stayed civil and could have given a comment to my speculations without slinging insults. Like: "You can trim the 30/40 Krag brass the length of your revolver cylinder one time without sizing because of its factory taper. After one firing the brass will fireform to the form...

There are no blue states except HI and VT. The rest is blue counties with millions and millions of moronic sheep in them and they were plastered with Biden signs. Some still have Biden stickers on their cars and wear masks while driving. It was most likely cheating that pushed Biden to the top...

    Interesting video on fungus...

Thanks for the heads up. I am a mycophile on the food front and it was interesting to learn about other angles. Chanterelle is one of my favorite late summer crops here in Western NC. You can easily grow several delicious non-native mushrooms on logs in your backyard if the micro climate is...

Help me wire this pump motor. Solved, 220 3ph

Cool. Simplest solution if you already have 3 phase. You need capacitors if you want to hook it up to 220 single phase. Either this way: Or with an additional starting capacitor. The switch between V1 and V2 is for starting.

What makes a good "defensive" levergun?

Can you post a pic of one of these shotshells next to a regular .44mag? I don't get how the Krag case would offer benefits over the .44mag case unless you trim the Krag to COAL. But then, you would have to neck it.

Not a coincidence but a consequence of Democrats running HI since God knows when. And don't count on that changing anytime soon. 'Responsibility' and 'unintended consequences' are terms that are just too old fashioned for progressives.

What makes a good "defensive" levergun?

I was just thinking about the major lever gun drawbacks, limited ammo capacity and slow reloads, when it occurred to me that your could easily beat a tactical lever gun with a shotty flinging sabot slugs out of a rifled barrel. Back when 3 gun was popular, even amateurs could feed their shotty...

What makes a good "defensive" levergun?

Lever gun pros: The best rifle format for a scabbard on a horse. Nothing else packs as well. I am not talking about a few hours on horseback but horse packing for days. Lever gun with tube mag cons: Limited capacity Special bullets needed to prevent ammo detonation in mag Limited ballistics...

Help me wire this pump motor. Solved, 220 3ph

I also came across some older diagrams that use the z2/w2 - u2 - v2 and u1 - v1- z1/w1 terminal labeling to connect the windings to single phase line, a run capacitor and a start capacitor. I amend my earlier recommendation and suggest that you try single phase with the two capacitors first.

DeSantis calls Trump supporters 'Listless vessels'

An excellent comment from another SH thread (click the link to read the arguments): https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/brandon-herrera-is-running-for-congress.7184241/post-11068668

Help me wire this pump motor. Solved, 220 3ph

The motor has the letters U V W on the terminal block which indicates that it is 3-phase. Since you have 3-phase available, hook the motor up to that via a 3-phase starter box which you can get for about $100. You can also use a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) drive to run it with 220 single...

DeSantis calls Trump supporters 'Listless vessels'

What the fuck does it matter at this point whether it was fraud or successful propaganda or a combination of both that got Brandon in the Whitehouse. They got their man in there and they will do it again because nothing has changed to prevent fraud and the "Orange Man Bad" propaganda has been...
