Lee rifle die question: Can you full length resize without the decapper?

Yes I am a poor and new to reloading, so I am learning on a Lee single press and die sef. I got a Frankfort Arsenal hand deprimer since it is easier to detect loose primer pockets and keeps my press cleaner. If I remove the decapping pin/rod from the Lee full length sizing die, will it still...

    6mm ARC (Bolt Action)

I've read in the .264"/6.5mm reloading posts and from Frank's podcast that a sweet spot seems to occur around 2850. Are there similar speed related sweet spots for .243"/6mm cartridges? Thanks in advance. edited: for me fail English, that's unpossible...

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

Besides data transfers in locations without cell coverage, what is the advantage of pulling data over USB and converting it, versus opening the .csv directly in spreadsheet format in the iOS mail or Android mail natively?

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

Yes, after you close out a session, it should sync with your phone. In the phone, you can review it and add notes (scroll to the bottom). I don't know of a way to manually add notes in the Garmin itself, but each session had a icon of a rifle, handgun, etc along with the avg fps next to it so...

The whole box at 100 yards

First outing with Xmas present: Garmin Xero and lot tested Center X. Shot out to 400 yards, easily hitting 12"x12" steel and occasional clay pigeons. Surprised to find the consistency in ES and SD for this ammo. In my relatively low informed analysis, although the ES and SD are approaching hand...

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

Ordered mine from Cabelas on Xmas using the Xmas gift card discount and military discount, it was $526 (tax included). Arrived 12/29, and shot a few pellets in the basement. Picked up shots without a problem, the app works great, and the .csv output export to email is foolproof. Photo of it...

Question on Rimfire Barrel Length With Suppressor And Accuracy Problems

One thing I noticed shooting suppressed 22lr, make sure that the threads are spec’d to the correct length and the shoulder is square. My Thunderbeast 22 Takedown didn’t play nice with my CZ457 thread specs so I mainly run it on my plinkers. Once corrected, it shot much better but needed to be...

    Entry level precision .22?

I've tried the following scopes on my various base and open class rimfire rifles: Athlon Argos BTR gen2 6-24x, Athlon Ares ETR 4.5-30x, Tract Toric 5-20x, Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x, Arken gen1 SH-4 4-14x, and of course the Arken EP-5 5-25x. From my personal experience, I highly recommend the...

    Chassis for KIDD .22 RF

Good use of available items. My range bag is heavy and packed to the gills. Do you have any concerns that the lever arm might torque/damage/break the Garmin Xero mounting point?

Request for info: Vortex Precision Matched 34mm Scope Ring inter bolt distance?

Can anyone please caliper the distance between the Torx bits on the top scope ring for the Vortex Precision Matched 34mm Scope Rings? Both x (center of the hole to the center of the other hole) and y (metal between the two holes) would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Garmin Xero accessories only

For many reasons, I think that a diving board mount might be the most versatile solution. If that's the case, this is the way... Edited: On closer inspection, the tightening knob might interfere with the body of the Xero. This mount should have the proper clearance to tighten.

    Garmin Xero accessories only

Good thread. I don't own one yet but here's a possible alternative rifle mounting solutions for poors like myself. And nothing says "I'm a poor" like an over spec'd case (that I plan to purchase, sucks being a poor and still sticking to poor-habits).
