I’m not convinced it’s a bur , borescopes make things look strange , I’ve seen fuzz look like cracks in the bore. Gas erosion is unpredictable and quite variable in barrels but my understanding is that it’s usually worse in stainless cut rifled barrels, happens quickly ( usually terrifying...- Seandradamus
