    Here’s another. I put mine together using the barrel from my CLE .22LR trainer service rifle. I acquired a DD rail and an upper and put her together. It’s fun to shoot with a scope and shoots really well at 100 yds.

    Has anyone here replaced their adjustable rear sight, installed a sight plate with a red dot sight like a Burris Fastfire/Vortex Venom/Delta Point (whatever). Question is did you experience any cycling issues with the added weight of the RDS? Thanks

    An RDS like a Burris Fastfire or such. Should work I think. A much lower profile rail would reduce weight.

    Do you’all know of anyone that makes a picatiny rail (drill/tap) that will sit atop a 1911 slide for optics ala Ruger 22/45 Tactical. More specifically a Kimber .22 conversion slide. Here’s kind of what I’m going for but sits too high in my opinion.

    12 mils of available Windage “not centered”. Checked on 3 different platforms and run out of left wind still requiring 2.5 mil for a wind zero.
