seekins lower assembly question
If you read the directions (if bought new) they say how to determine how much to cut off. Can't remember exactly but I've done it. I have also seen more than a dozen grown elk shot with 168 SMK high shoulder out to 300 yards and never had to track any of them very far, most not at all but if you shoot enough animals with any bullet, they all will do weird things for no apparent reason every now and then. My buddies and I have shot one of Jake's double flappers a lot and out of all the steel it gets targeted the most. It's a cool target. I hear a lot of "double flapper, 675"... "Send it"... "Good hit"- redirt78

The bullet doesn't know what kind of animal and bone it's going through especially if it's not something like a Cape buffalo. It went where he wanted it to go, that is the main reason it worked the way it did. Looks like it destroyed the shoulder and blew bones out of the off side. No doubt they...- redirt78

Best 20MOA QD scope (thats not LaRue)??
GDI has QD mounts, my wallet has prevented me from researching the heights and dimensions but they are one of the few that I have heard that return to absolute zero and I have seen one that looked pretty low.- redirt78

Like FNG said, sounds like the 2 and the 4 you are referring to would be mil marks. With my 18" 308 with Bushnell 3.5-21 with G2 reticle the point of bullet impact at my 2 mil mark is roughly 350 yards and the 4 mil mark is 515 yards. Catastrophic Failure

Always nice to see good work but some of it can't be seen in a few of your pictures. Put a lamp next to the gun on the side that you are taking the picture or take them outside when the sun is out. What I could see did look really good.- redirt78

Has Magpul ever demonstrated interest in DBM?
If they could work out a double stack single feed that fit AICS pattern DBMs that was also very reliable that would be cool. I know feed lips sometimes need to be tweaked on some mags and I don't think you can do that on a Pmag so I don't know if it would work too good for everyone. I know I've...- redirt78

Well, as Massoud already stated... The first part will probably never happen being that the current 308 Pmags are double stack. On the second part, only Magpul could make Pmags for AICS so they'd for sure be the first to do it. I do agree that it would be cool to have polymer Magpul AICS mags...- redirt78
