    Re: Viper Vortex Strikefire vs Aimpoint Pro Optic The Vortex is a great value. Anything electronic can fail but Aimpoint will absolutely have a lower failure rate. It will also have a higher shock rating and better water seals. Will it be for home defense. Marshall
