    Couple trimming questions

Just make sure to keep it the same. Small sample sizes but I have tested size trim mandrel vs size mandrel trim and had different speeds and sds when changing the order of the steps.

These BR boxes work very well. They are small and do not take up much room in a pack at all.

Manners Composite Stocks, New products for 2020, Pre Shot Show Sneak Peak

Does the TCS have to have the mini chassis or can it have any inlet to allow for bedding? This is a great system for a PRS and the 700 footprint is the king but I run Kelby's Black Bear actions.

I used the std Forestor die to take my 6br brass down to 22br. It worked well but a honed put die would have been better. I have a honed one on backorder. I use several of there honed dies for my rifles. I am using a Redding FL Type S die now and it works very well also.

    Kelbly's Black Bear Tactical

I have a 27" Marksman with a Hellfire Brake on my Manners PRS. It is balanced pretty well. A Heavy Palma should be just fine also. I do run an ATACR so I have that little extra weight in the middle.

Advanced Marksmanship Impact high when shooting off barricade

I used to go high left positional vs prone, around .2 high and .1left. Lots of practice positional shooting groups on paper at 100yds over the past several months fixed this for me. When I miss it is now .1 high around 12:00. I shoot 3/4" dots at 100yds for practice often and it translates...

    Kelbly's Black Bear Tactical

Ran my first "club" PRS match with my 22BR yesterday. (300 rounds on it now) I am using the MDT BR Mags and did not have to make any adjustments at all. I had zero feeding issues. I believe Kelbys does not recommend the BR cases in the Black Bear due to the possibility of them getting stuck in...

Tried some 85.5s tonight. The bearing surface stays above the neck shoulder junction with these. I jumped them .020 and will do more testing later on. The 85.5's with BR4's ran around 50fps faster for me than the 88ELDM's with CCI450s with the same charge weight.

Ill edit that, my brain always defaults to my 130gr 6.5x47 load with Varget

    .22 br

I just got my 22 BR up and running Monday. .255Neck with .100FB, Krieger 7t 4g HV at 26", Kelbys Black Bear Tactical action in a XLR Envy. I sized the new Lapua 6BR brass with a standard Forster Die. Once I had the barrel I did not have enough shoulder bump to get a free bolt drop. I was able...

Your smith should be able to do everything. Who is spinning up the barrel once you get the action? If you are getting a barreled action from Kelby's just send them the stock and they can finish it up for you.

    Kelbly's Black Bear Tactical

I bought an in stock PRS 1 from Core/Altus that had been cut for a Defiance. I had it shipped to Kelby's to be reinletted then on to my smith. Took less than 2 weeks turn around.

I ordered mine in June, I called and got my deposit back a couple weeks ago.

Advanced Marksmanship T4A vs PRS2 recoil control

I just started shooting a PRS 2 in a 6.5x47 build. I found I have to load the bipod a lot more than I do on my other 6.5x47 in a McMillian A5.

Rifle Scopes Which Athlon scope for 22lr

+1 for the Midas Tac 6-24. I have two of them now and am very pleased. It is a lot of scope for the price and the ability to focus it down to 10yds is great on a .22. The new APRS3 Reticle is very well designed and gives you a lot of hold overs without over cluttering the field of view.

    Wet Tumbler Recommendations

I know it is not on your list but I have no complaints on my Frankford Arsenal Platinum Series. I am running several hundred 223 now and still had room for more.

    Kelbly's Black Bear Tactical

I emailed Al at MPA yesterday and he said they were "working on the Black Bears now but did not have a release date yet". I ordered mine in June under the impression it would be a few months max.
