Coup De Grâce 223 action experiences?

I built up a CDG in 223AI, too. I'm trying to use accurate magazines .223 mag. IIRC, that's what ARC recommended. It fed unformed brass just great. Doesn't feed fireformed brass worth a hoot. About every other round hangs up hard. Unfortunately, I don't have any mags that do work, so I'm...

Precision AR -15 10 shot moa groups

If you're not already, trap the trigger to the rear and control the reset. I'll hold the trigger rearward for a solid second after breaking the shot, then slowly let it forward until it just resets. If I find myself missing targets I would normally hit at a match, 10 times out of 10 it's...

    Ballistic AE

I've never gotten Ballistic AE to give me good data on .22's. My Kestrel on the other hand, is virtually perfect out to 300 or so.

    Anyone drive a Rivian R1T?

Wasn't trying to sell here, but I get your point. I'll report myself to the mods and see if this is allowed. Should have thought of that myself.

    Anyone drive a Rivian R1T?

If yes, I'd love to have a conversation off-line. Another member here and I designed an accessory for the R1T, and we're looking for a few Rivian owners to post links to our website on some of the Rivian focused Facebook pages.

Melquan rides bike into river to get away from cops......glug, glug, glug

Without training, attempting to save a drowning person is likely to result in two drownings.

Minox ZP5 elevation "slippage" and loss of zero after hitting 2nd elevation turret revolution

I sent mine back during Covid. Thought I had a scope problem, turned out it was a rifle problem. Took a solid year to go to Germany and get back to me. I assume a lot of that was due to COVID stupidity, but I’ll be interested to hear how it goes for delfuego (Hi Pedro!). I love my ZP5 and...

PRICE CHANGE - Zermatt Arms Chassis - The Matterhorn

I like the looks and the features. If I were in the market for another chassis, I would certainly give it a hard look. I understand the carping about the price, but it’s “only” $600 more than comparable options. Seriously, if price point was the only consideration for people in this group...

Why put a red dot on 1-8x

I have dots mounted on top of my 1-8 and 1-10. Not offset. It's super fast doing "up" drills. No canting of the rifle required. That was a happy side effect. I mounted them up top to be easier to use with nods. Final selling point, if you buy a decent dot, battery life is measured in...

    40X repeater Builds please.

Love mine. Can’t seem to find a pic, though. It used to live in an AICS chassis with a Lilia barrel and a Steiner 5-25. It’s on its way to the smith. My son has started shooting matches and I’m having the barrel shortened to 16” for him because he’s a vey small ten year old. Johnathan did mine...

Dry fire: How much reticle movement?

You might also try dry firing on a fired case. I have a R700 where the bolt jiggles just a bit without an empty case. Drove me nuts till I figured it out.

    40x worth the extra money

My original barrel shot just OK. I shot it with that for about a year and then finally had it rebarreled with a Lilja. Group sizes went about in half. The Lilja is not quite the equal of my Vudoo, but it's close. At some point, it'll get a Shilen, and I assume it will then outshoot the...

Who is your new ar15 barrel builder?

Good luck. I mean that with no sarcasm. Paul Craddock is the bomb. Worth the wait if you can stand it.

    40x worth the extra money

That’s a good price depending on what barrel is on it. Back in the days before Vudoo, I had to give $800 for a barreled action, then get it rebarreled and converted to a repeater. I don’t remember how much I spent in total, but it was more than just buying a Vudoo today. Be interesting to...
