TRG-22 Purchase
I love TRG22. I'm on my 3rd barrel. My only complaint is I wish there was a lighter stock so it would be a bit easier to justify using as a hunting rifle. Mine is currently at 16.8# with bipod, scope, and magazine.- TRG65

RL16, RL17, or IMR 4350
I used RL 16 to push a 147 close to 2900 in a x47 on a 24" barrel. I think I was around 2880'ish. If I would only shoot 1 or 2 rounds I was ok. When I tried that load in a match I ended up with multiple pierced primers over the course of the day. Also the same load in my wife's x47 was a...- TRG65

I second the recommendation to try a non-magnum primer. Even with magnum rounds, magnum primers haven't given me as good of SDs and ESs as regular primers. I don't hunt or shoot in truly frigid weather, only in teens (at most) and twenties, and haven't had an ignition issue. I would also...- TRG65

Rl-16 in 6.5x47
For RL 16 and 147 both. I also used 140s and H4350 with the 6.5x47. The Creedmoor was a later acquisition when I was in the process of switching over the 6.5x47 so the Creedmoor was only loaded with RL16 and 147. Best accuracy powder charges ended up being about a grain different btwn the x47...- TRG65

Rl-16 in 6.5x47
It's not as forgiving as H4350, but I switched to it when H4350 got scarce a few years ago. I use it with a 147 ELDM. I switched both bullet and powder about the same time. I got a good load, with it and used it for 90% of a barrel.- TRG65

7mm Rem Mag Recoil - How bad is it?
When I had a 7RM without a break that weighed about 9# all up, I could handle about 20-25 rounds and maintain good fundamentals and not start loosing concentration.
