    I have one for my 16" at I break it down to upper lower and it fits good it has a PRS stock and a 2.5x10 vortex scope on it. Still room for the bipod sunshade and mags. I'll try to post a pic tonight.

    hornady 105 gr match bullets

    I have gotten the 105 amaxs and the bthp to work in my factory savage out to 1050yds. I also just started loading the barnes match burners in 105 and have some nosler CC 105's to refine a little bit. I have only had the hornadys to 1050, the rest have all been to 100yd only.

    Have you measured the bullets themselves? Its possible they may be the difference your seeing.
