    I'll be 65 next month. Due to health insurance when I was working, I've had PSA screening yearly for the past 15 years or so, and continue to have it checked now that I'm retired.     6BR 22" Brux 105 Berger VLD, danzac coated 2704 fps 30.4 gr of Varget 95 gr SMK's run 2879, a bit flatter with similar wind drift, about 30 ft/lbs less energy at 1000 yards (408 vs 438). I'd also need to check the powder charge (data is in the shop). 8.7 mils vs 9.6 with the 105's @ 1000

    Bergara BXR

    So, since I didn't get any replies (above), I went to the LGS to check out the Ruger 10/22's and the Bergara. They had a stainless LVT 10/22 which would have fit my needs for $150 less, but the cheekpiece was too low (set for open sight shooting, even though this gun did not have open sights)...

    Here is a different view of the Ten Peaks from Larch Valley after a climb to the top of the hill to the north of the lake. One of the top 3 most beautiful places I've been. Sorry that a cell phone picture is all I have of it... A picture does not come close to doing it justice.
