    What steel is he using these days for his 5R's? I just bought a Ruger Precision Rifle in .308, and they all come with an in-house Ruger manufactured 5- R CHF 1/10" 4140 steel. Not stainless like Remington made. Havn't shot it yet to see how nice it is.

    This is the reason M852 has the striations around the case, to provide a tactile feel so a sniper didnt accidentaly chamber these cartridges and shwack an enemy with it 😇
