    Took a few hours on the range today. Trying out the Ase Utra muzzle brake. It does a good job on taming the .300 winmag, but I run both earplugs and ear pros to keep safe from the blast, cos it is loud as F*CK.

    Some scratches from getting it in and out of the bag is about it. The paint is called EC-spray and I have used a few cans on various items now, and it holds up pretty well, as you can see.

    New Rem 700 LR, I am pleased!

    I bought a Rem 700 Police in .300 WM a few years back. Remington does take a lot of shit for their barrels but the one I got shot really good. I took it out to 1090 meters which is the furthest I have ever shot. Still have that rifle, but it has been rebuilt to recemble a Mk13 mod5. I keep it on...

    Give the 212 grain Eld-x a try. I bet it will shoot great with them.

    B&T APC9 PRO vs. Zenith Z5RS

    Not fully on topic, but a local guy just got an APC223 and I shot a few rounds with it, this past weekend. I dont shoot a lot of AR or AR type rifles but man, that was a smooth gun. Recoil was close to zero, and the trigger felt good. If the APC9 is anything like it, it should be a good choice.

    The Mk13 mod5(ish) on the range on a late summer evening in the south of Sweden. 300 winmag. Blueprinted Remington 700. Jury custom barrels, Mk13mod5 profile. AICS AT chassie. MARS rail. Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 with Ultralite rings.

    What aftermarket Rem700 trigger has proven most durable?

    I have a BnA 2-stage tacsport on my 300WM. I got it this spring and I only have about 200 rounds on that gun since the rebarrel, so I cant say anything about durability, but it feels great. Will probably get another one for my 6.5x47L.

    Looking for feedback on your folding stock/chassis

    I can't believe that no one suggested the Accuracy International AICS AT chassie. Maybe they are out of the given price bracket? I have used and tried a lot of chassis and stocks and the KRG Whiskey3 and the AICS AT are my favourites.
