SAKO TRG 22 .308 Barrel condition

When we ask how it shoots, we are talking about consistency over about 50 or so shots (or at least a 5 shot group). But since you are new to this kind of shooting and the rifle is new to you, those two shots seems good enough. And if it is recently cleaned, two bullets down the bore is probably...

Barrels can be shortened or replaced... And it's a small/medium size bolt face in a 42 action... Rare as hen's teeth those. 🤔 I hear you. The TRG-S affliction only affect a select few. 😁

New year, first update. KRG does not provide a enclosed forend for the TRG... Well, i wanted one. Originally for a Tikka SA and AICS mags, so a new magwell needed printing. Said and done. No other mods necessary. It sits 1 cm / ⅜" further forward to clear any and all protrutions(sp?).

    260 Rem vs 308

Ranting ramblings: A long time ago, the 308 was all you got, because everyone (USA) wanted a .30 cal to do everything. Then the 308 was considered too heavy and everyone (USA) wanted a lighter round. Since everyone, then and today, can't differentiate between cartridge and twist, they went with...

Sako TRG-22 Barrel Replacement with KRG Nut

As always when removing a tight nut/screw and so on, it is about overcoming the initial binding force. This is not done by applying force gradually, but with a good whack.
