    Rifle Scopes Swarovski Z5i+ information

you hit the nail on the head here. sometimes you want a heavy, robust, "tactical" scope, but sometimes you want a simpler, lightweight hunting scope. you just have to figure out which makes you happy. some guys like blonds, brunettes, redheads, etc.

I locked on to hunting, zoned on the prs part honestly. i'm glad we have a similar perspective here.

Vortx Viper HD 5-25 vs Athlon Ares BTR Gen 3 4.5-27

good morning, I'd lean vortex as i've had them and used them for a few years now. have you considered the lht from vortex? i might lean that direct for a hunting rifle. https://cstactical.com/vortex-razor-lht-4-5-22x50-ffp-xlr-2-mrad-rzr-42202/?searchid=16315&search_query=RZR-42202

    Rifle Scopes Swarovski Z5i+ information

It would be hard to go wrong either way. for me it's a bit of an apples and oranges comparison. hunting vs prs/competition/"tactical" style shooting, the weight and exposed turrets are the biggest factor in considering either for a hunting rifle from my perspective. which zco would you run? For...

Burris XTR2-best scope option for around 500 bucks?

what 22 are you running? what magnification are you thinking? I feel like i had this conversation with someone a while back and ended up going to a vortex scope because the parallax adjustment distance was a little closer.

    Rifle Scopes Swarovski Z5i+ information

afternoon, I can't speak to the z5i, but i own several swarovski rifle scopes, z6i, z5, and an older one. and i can tell you they hold up well. my z6i and z5 have ballistic turrets, and they have been try through a ton of hunts. give me a shout and we can talk through any questions you might...

Burris xtriii vs vortex razor 4.5-22?

i'd go with the LHT personally, i like the burris, but i've shot the LHT and it's worked great over the last two years. https://cstactical.com/vortex-razor-lht-4-5-22x50-ffp-xlr-2-moa-rzr-42201/

Cheap scopes Leupold mk4hd vs Nightforce SHV?

I'd lean SHV, but it depends what reticle you like. I'd probably consider the vortex pst as well in this price range.

Where would you buy a ZC840?

another vote for CSTactical. but i'm a little bias. selfishly, i love seeing everyone's build's and being apart of a projects success story.

Rifle Scopes Razor gen 3 upgrade

It's just like anything else. put your hands on both and see what suits you better. it's as much personal preference as anything else. what turrets do you like better, what reticle options suit you better, and what looks better optically to your eye.

    Swarovski ATX vs Hensoldt Spotter

Good morning, I've been using an STR for years, I like the hensoldt, but I liked the Swarovski. I enjoy being able to turn that reticle on and off and adjust the reticle brightness, i really like the helical focus wheel in the middle of the scope, it works better when wearing gloves. I've not...

Sidearms & Scatterguns If you had $2000 to spend for a range pistol…

I vote for a Ruger mark IV, a suppressor, optic, and a shit load of ammo.... that said, the Staccato is a sweet shooter. I saw the other day Springfield has an optics ready TRP, I might take a look at that.

KAHLES K624i - EYEBOX COMPARED TO PRESENT SCOPES

I've used Swarovski and Kahles optics a long time. While that Kahles 6-24 is a great optic, it's a 10 year old optic and a 4x erector system. The newer technology and optics, particular from these guys is going to continually improve, or at least that's been my experience for the last 15 years.
