barrel twist/long range
My chicken scratch spin drift is attached. The rounds will actually run like from 11 o'clock down to 5 o'clock and from 1 o'clock to 7 o'clock depending if it's a left hand twist or right hand twist barrel. I'd also be curious if I didn't see it to ask the OP what ammo he is running/using in...- Frank Green

Nope I use a bore/rod guide for my AR rifles as well. Same with a 1917 enfield or Springfield or Mauser etc... Use something. Something is better than nothing. If the barrel is in good shape... why take a chance on wrecking it? The Sinclair rod guide is pretty universal. Only thing I've done...- Frank Green

I’d still shoot the bore dry before shooting. Especially the chamber. If the bore has oil/solvent in it…. Guaranteed fliers on the first rounds down it.- Frank Green

That's the way the maker wants to do it. Again it's laser engraved and won't be huge/big etc... and will be on the bottom side of the rear tang of the scope base. When it's on the gun you won't see it. Later, Frank- Frank Green

Everyone that contacted me... I did reply with a PM back just a minute ago. Mounts will be done late next week or early after. He said he will laser engrave M40A1 on the bottom side of the back tang of the mount so there will be no question that they are not originals etc.... Later, Frank- Frank Green
