    Lever action .357 with handloads. 160ish grain bullet at 900 fps from a 16 inch barrel is very quiet and whacks targets very nicely. Bolt gun experience is the same with less stetson needed. 44 mag is also fun if you need more bullet, just comes with more noise. 9mm is hard to argue with too...

    Hunting load? Deer ? The 95g nosler ballistic tips have done very well in the 2 243s I've loaded them for. Both were older rifles as well, unknown twist. My buddy has taken probbaly about 25 deer with that combo over the years from 10 yards to about 250. Performed well with lung shots.
