    Top barrel was chambered on a cnc. Bottom barrel on an manual machine. Manual machinist sometimes use a relief cut to stop the threading tool in. Makes since in this instance because the cylinder before the shoulder needs to be clean and clear for alignment.

    I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like Timney still makes a replacement for the 3 piece winny triggers. It's a single stage, but if I can't get mine down to 2 pounds, I will give it a try.

    Yes even hornaday eld factory ammo can be improved and lower es and sd. You might also look at getting a barrel tuner and playing with that and factory ammo. Honestly it just looks like maybe high sd and wind.

    Probably running 75,000 psi and hard primers to keep it together. I've seen f class guys run the 6s hot. I have never seen anyone claim 3000fps with a Dasher and 110 class bullets. What's the secrete sauce?

    Lifetime on the unit, only 5 years on the electronics. Mine died and they asked me if I dropped it. I said no. They said why not...... it got "dropped" and replaced in a week.

    In my limited experience 178 eld-m fail to expand at all at 2650fps impact velocity on deer and react identical to fmj. Eld-x atleast blew apart and the core produced a exit wound.

    What does the 6.8 Western offer that the 6.5 prc doesn't? Beside limited bullet selection, single source brass, and limited rifle availability.
