    This is one reason I by and large stick with NF scopes and NF rings. Easy button. I find myself about to buy a spuhr becasue I basically have to for what I want to accomplish, but I'm dreading it.

    Thats pretty sweet! My grendel is a 16" full house custom from mstn, built a few years ago when there was not nearly as much choice. Had to source the lilja, source the bolt, etc... What is the go to 12" upper setup today? Reliability being #1, and LR accuracy being very desirable.

    I basically agree with you guys, except that my groups are really the same regardless of the direct mount or the vyce. The vyce is much better than the hog saddle, imo. I wax asking about the 055/ universal base for other reasons.

    I'm fascinated by them, but I guess I just don't think a bipod is very important for hunting. Do you shoot it regularly in practice? I can't see doing that, so again, not sure what it really brings to the table. Still and all, I'm fascinated.

    Night Vision Gen 3 clip-on AN/PVS-9 SIMRAD

    Ive seen and played with both the spuhr and badger simrad mounts. For a 203, is one better then the other in any way? Maybe better for some scopes over others? How about lockup and zero retention? Thanks!
