    They are very close in quality, I'd buy whatever one I could find cheaper... That happens to be the SKB in most cases. I do prefer the wheels on the SKB (softer) and the handles. The pelican does have a harder, less flex, shell. I find them both to be overbuilt. The SKB also seems to be...

    I prefer my SKB case to my pelicans. Not sure about their availability in the UK, but something to look into. pelican does make a great case, not trying to say otherwise.

    To be fair you quoted the price of the 18-62, the 10-50 is 159.26 (79.63 on sale) The 18-62 is the better deal, runs around $135 normally. The 10-50 is available for $100. Currently $173 on Amazon (though available for $130ish elsewhere)...

    I don't own one, but anytime you make something adjustable by the end user you open the door to problems. The stock trigger is dependable because you can't really mess with it much.
