    Gunsmithing 1911 Commander Bushing or no

    As in 4” bill barrel, vs. 4.25” bushing with standard spring Government guide rod. What does this really mean for a 9mm single stack Commander sized 1911. Carry and some training/games. I had a Dan Wesson Vigil that was reliable and easy to hit with.

    Yes, 205, my mistake. Internet load data…. 2850 in your brass, your primer. Probably a good bet. I’ve shot thousands this way and at 3000 in 24” bolt gun. Yes, that’s the only primer I am familiar with. YMMV 2520 is another good powder. Dont forget priming first though. It can create quite a...

    Bullet runout worse by using an expander mandrel?

    Stupid American here. I like using the mandrel. I do not anneal often. I can choose neck tension. I shoot better when satisfied with my work.
