    I've run half a dozen garmins and 2 lab radars at the day and gun. They were all consistent. There is a lot of variables that can come into play that will scramble your numbers. First off....what's the tall target score? How's the wind direction and speed? How accurate are you on that day...

    As long as your adhesive can have a 2x delta in your CTE....rock on. It has to work. That's why wrapped barrels outshoot full steel barrels.

    My experience with epoxies and materials with different coefficient of thermal expansions are not what I would recommend. If I were to suggest epoxies I would grit blast the surfaces for adhesion. Not arguing that I couldn't be serviceable.

    You could run a steel sight and solder it. You can drill and tap. Anything else is going to be less than reliable.

    I live in a community of about 600. If you commit a crime you'll either not live through it or you will be prosecuted and convicted. In Seattle, 250 miles west of here in the same state, you will not even be sited, let alone risk prosecution. Therefore Seattle is clearly a good example.
