    The Elcan SpecterDR is definitely heavy and low mag but it is a tank and will be fine on the SCAR 17. It also has backup irons. I tried a NF NXS 2.5-10 on both the 17 and 20 but found that the small size eye wasn't great on the 17 and the 10x max magnification wasn't enough on the 20.

    I tried one on a LaRue quad rail handguard and they were very tight... I didn't want to force it. Happy to measure the inner width with a digital caliper in the morning.

    Night Vision Vectronix plrf15 with pvs14 ?

    I bought one of these years ago... it screws into the bottom of the PVS-14 and has multiple diameter adapters that let you mount a PVS-14 onto lots of different diameter occulars/ objectives front or rear. Not super stable but works ok...
