    Re: Pistol under $600, please advise. yup...even though I carry a Jardine tuned Kimber Warrior on Swat n duty...you can't beat a Glock 17....they generally work right out of the box/reliable....easy to learn how to service yourself.....price point...ease of obtaining parts/mags...same trigger...

    Re: ambi safety the WIlson and Ed Brown Tactical (thinner paddles) are the ones I use. they all need to be fit....also I find that they also need to have the sharp edges smoothed out...
