That’s disappointing. It seems like an easy fix and only adds benefits to the system. There are zero draw backs to adding this function.

    What calibers do you have?

That was my frustration. I would scroll back to the series press the check mark and then it would send me to the new series. So disappointing... there’s gotta be a computer nerd on here that can open it up and find a hack to override.

It seems like it would be such an easy feature to add to the unit. Wouldn’t most people like to switch from rifle to rifle and keep the same data? Maybe I’m the weird one for wanting this feature

So it can or can not be done?... looks like conflicting reports. I gotta believe I’m not the only guy that’s wanted to go back and shoot from an earlier “series” to collect data.

I just opened my new labradar and I’m having an issue. I can’t seem to switch series back and forth from rifles. I shoot three rifles when I go to the range. After I shoot rifle #1 I start a new “series” for rifle #2. My question is how do I go back to rifle #1 and pick up where I left off on...

    500-700 elk/deer lightest recoil?

I’m 99% sure I’m going with 6.5 PRC. I was pushed over the edge by Primus, we’ll stack elk just to prove him wrong.... I’m new here but his type are all over other forums. Typically they are the guys on the internet throughout fall and winter talking about killing animals instead of doing it.

    500-700 elk/deer lightest recoil?

If the rules and regs let me hunt with a rifle during the rut when stalking and calling elk into 40 yards I’d do that buttttttt that’s not the case. When I typically hunt elk with a rifle they aren’t chasing cows and susceptible to calling. They are in deep dark canyons and longer shots are...

    500-700 elk/deer lightest recoil?

No doubt if you make a shitty shot you’ll lose an animal. But they also die very quickly when the lungs fill with blood....

    500-700 elk/deer lightest recoil?

I’ve personally seen many elk die from a 1 1/8 broadhead going through the lungs... I have no doubt a 6mm, 6.5mm, 270, 7mm, 308, 338 ripping though liver, lungs or heart will put an elk down quick and they won’t be any more dead....

    500-700 elk/deer lightest recoil?

Sounds like the perfect build for my father. We live in Cali and hunt out of state in multiple states throughout the year. I’m going to put together a rifle exactly like you said and put it in a Mcmillan or manners to keep it sporty. Might pick of a bravo for range work and fun at home then slip...

    PRC 7, 7.5 or 8 twist?

What’s the conclusion on 6.5 PRC twist rates? This gun will be used from sea level to 9500ft. Planning on 147eldm and hopefully heavier when the start coming out..l

    **6 Creedmoor**

Whoa that’s quick, 648?!? And already dying? I’m definitely backing off then. Don’t need the extra speed just wanted to see the potential of the cartridge (which is badass). I’d love to get 1500 rounds out of the barrel, not looking good now lol

    **6 Creedmoor**

I ended up chasing speed and going with 42.2gr H4350 with great accuracy. Averaging 3230 out of my Havak PH1... after these next 100 rounds I’m going to see what the lower node is with 4350. I’m guessing around 3030 as that’s what the Hornady 108eldm and I’m blown away by the accuracy from...

    Proof Research contour vs #5?

Haha but I’d go straight steel if the accuracy is better... I want this rig to be a 70/30 hunting- steel rifle. I want first shot cold bore to be repeatable as my number one priority

    Proof Research contour vs #5?

Definitely not going with a Bartlein #5. I’d go with a 3 or 3b if the proof research is Bigger than a #5 contour. I just bought the McMillan but want to make sure I’m buying the right contour barrel to fit the stock.... I figure cerakote and flutes on a steel barrel is a wash for the carbon...

    Proof Research contour vs #5?

Looking to build a 6.5 PRC on an M70 action. The McMillan supergrade fiberglass can take up to a #5 contour. I’d like to use a Proof Research light Sendero barrel but not sure it’ll fit. If not I’ll go with a Bartlein 3b or 3? What would you guys go with for a 24in barrel on PRC?

    500-700 elk/deer lightest recoil?

So my father was out with me today shooting my Seekins Havak 6mm creedmoor our to 800 yards and was tickled pink shooting 12in targets that far out with factory ammo. He is 62 and wants to buy/build a new Colorado deer/elk combo. He has access to a...

    500-700 elk/deer lightest recoil?

lots of great feedback. The majority of the shots are 150-500 yards, either open sage brush flat or cross canyon. i'm leaning pretty hard for the 6.5 PRC, but the 7mag needs some more consideration. The rifle will most likely have a brake to minimize as must recoil as possible.

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

Any updates on the 6.5 PRC accuracy? I’m thinking of buying one but this thread has me second guessing. I have a 6 creed in the PH1 and it shoots both handloads and factory well under .5moa. I’m hoping the 6.5 PRC can do the same.
