    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

    Finally got to “stretch” the 6 Creed to 450 for some groups. I continue to be impressed with this rifle as it’s fired almost everything I have under .5 and most much better. Here was the first group at 450 with 105 vld 42.2 h4350 was. Next week I hope to get it out to 1200.

    Mine is a 24in barrel.... not sure what a 28incher would do. All in all the 6creed is easy to find a load for. I think it’s just a matter of how much performance you demand. If .5moa is fine than I think you’ll find something quickly. If you want .2’s and below than you’ll need to tune the shit...

    42.2 gr H4350 out of a seekins ph1 gets me 3130fps with Peterson brass shooting Berger VLD 105 .035 offlands. Average .5-.7’s our to 1000yds allllldayeveryday.

    Base to Ogive is 2.200. For my rifle That gives me 20thou off the lands. I don’t measure COAL but I’d bet it’s real close to 2.800. Next time I go out to the shop I’ll measure.

    Where are you located? If your in Nor Cal I’d recommmend Spartan Precision out of San Jose. Those guys are unreal with there attention to detail. Might as well have them spin you a new barrel while it’s there... haha

    I picked up a used 6mm creed with the OG McMillan stock. Said to have 140-160 down the pipe. Owner said it shot factory Hornady match .5moa. I just started reloading (50 rounds Berger 105VLD) nothing has shot over an inch and most everything is .6-.2 MOA. It’s a pussy cat to shoot and can’t wait...

    I just bought a used gen 1 6mm Havak with the McMillan stock. First 15 shots of h4350 Berger 105’s all went under .7’s. I did powder charges of 41, 41.3, 41.6, 41.9, 42.2. The best group was 42.2 and went .4....Im going to go back and load up to a stiffer charge as I didn’t see any pressure...

    Just picked up a slightly used Gen 1 havak with the McMillan stock in 6mm creedmoor. Loaded up Berger 105’s from 41-42.2 H4350. 8-10mph wind and I was very impressed.
