Rifle Scopes Gen 2 PST vs Gen 1 Razor HD

Missing the point of staying within the rules of that class. If I'm going to shoot outside the class Id just run a PM2 or try the Minox. Hell I could pick up a new Rzr 2 for under the cap but the rule isnt based on what you paid but rather the MSRP.

Rifle Scopes Gen 2 PST vs Gen 1 Razor HD

Issue with G2 Razor for me is that its MAP pricing is over the $2k cap for PRS production class so thats a no go.

Rifle Scopes Win the Sightmark Pinnacle 5-30x we Reviewed

My story? Okay. It was never easy for me. I was born a poor black child. I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family, singin' and dancin' down in Mississippi... I dont need a scope to be given to me so with that said I hope it finds its way to a good home classy move to do this for...

Rifle Scopes Gen 2 PST vs Gen 1 Razor HD

Thanks for all of the replies. Have owned 2 of the gen 1Razors when they first came out and were going fot around $2k. I had just heard around the local shops that the new G2 PST was sharing same glass and was more comparable to the now dated G1 Razor. From the replies this does not seem to...

Barrel Tuners (Rubber) Fact or Fiction

Legit within certain applications. Since you have used the boss what profile barrel is it installed on? The benefit as I see it is on lighter profile longer barrels that are prone to "whip". I dont see a need on a heavier profile barrel which is predominately what we use on precision rifles.

Rifle Scopes Review of Nightforce 7-35x56 ATACR

Washington State, Nevada, Arizona..anywhere but here! Been hitting the range at Rahauge's (spelling?) but its only 100 yds, and Lytle Creek. Now that things are cooling down I hope to meet up with some local hide folks and get out to the high desert. I know there are some decent ranges but...

Accuracy International AIAC "Accuracy Competition" Rifle (Design Concept)

Looks good! Only thing I would suggest is a real thumb shelf. A big gnarly one like the MPA grip/chassis not a dent like the Victor Skins, not bashing on the Victors they did what they could within the constraints of the chassis but since we are making stuff up...put a bigger shelf on it!

Rifle Scopes Review of Nightforce 7-35x56 ATACR

Nope not yet been meaning to make a trip that way. I'm in Corona. Didn't know that about the 5-25 that's a bummer. Yes spotting was my thought as well and to be fair my spotter had same mirage found sweet spot around 18-20x to be optimal in those conditions.

Rifle Scopes New to Mil Dots

I think he may mean using the reticle in general not the units. Could be wrong but thats how I read it. If thats the case here is a good place to start http://www.mildot.com/testdrive.htm

Rifle Scopes Review of Nightforce 7-35x56 ATACR

Had one for a few weeks before selling it. I sold it simply due to the higher magnification not playing well in SoCal heat (mirage). Optics were fantastic, I liked the clicks and the layout of the ATACR as this was my first. I can see a 25x ATACR in my future but back to the topic the 35x is...

Pretty broad question where do you want to start? I recently posted the base chart in the vintage section. There are a few places making repro bases. Unlike modern gas purged optics dont be afraid to tinker with these they do come apart and are easy to service. I have replaced crosshair wires...

    Rifle Scopes Minox Zp5 5-25x56

Not doubting thats what you were told what I will say is when we were speaking to them at SHOT the rep from Minox (not Blaser USA) pointed that out as a "feature" while explaining all the points designed for Mil/LEO use. So basically they need to get their story straight is what I'm saying. If...

So I assume the barrel life is going to be rather short like the 6.5cm?

Rifle Scopes RANT This is HARD!!

110% agree! Recalling conversations with JBW3 the ERGO was the most "Opticaly Precise" for lack of a better description way to adjust parallax. The side focus was driven by market demand as that is what folks were accustomed to. I think if people had the conversation with USO about the pros and...

Tikka T3X TAC A1 product support

Got mine yesterday and within 30 min of getting home had it stripped down to parade rest. They can be rebarreled but to your point of using it for PRS if you are looking to compete in Production Class replacement with anything other than OEM will not qualify if not shooting that class go for...

Rifle Scopes RANT This is HARD!!

The 2nd rifle I bought was an AWM based on Zak's article where he compared it to Ray Dog's TRG. Zak was running a SB PM2 and Ray Dog the SN3 Ergo. My first optic purchase was a USO SSDS...damn I wish I would have held onto that little bit of nostalgia.
