    230 Hybrid or 215?

    The g7 I’ve been using for the Hornady is .367. Everything looks to be holding at that. The Berger’s are great bullets. The 215 for me shot very close to the 225. I have some 230s to try, but never did cause the g7 of the 225 and 230 are almost the same. Just figured they’d be about the same...

    I know your wanting info on the Berger 215 and 230. But, look at the Hornady 225 ELDM. They shot every bit of good as the Berger’s. They had a little less wind drift then the 215s also.     6.5x47 Lapua

    The barrel is 32” long. I’d guess from going off of my 140 load that the 150 is going 2820-2830. OAL for a 150 and 10 off is 2.9375. I’ll try and get the chrono out next time. Probably going to be a couple weeks though.

    Just working up some new loads with the Sierra 150 MK. So far looking good. All the loads are using Lapua brass, H4350 and cci 450 primers. All testing was done at 200 yds. The orange dots are inch and an eighth big. I only did 10 and 20 thou off the lands. 40.3 to 40.7 looks like it wants...

    I’ve heard that CLR works really good. I’ve not tried it yet myself. Do you brush both barrels? How many strokes with the brush do you give the barrel? Does the barrel sit for a long time dirty, until you get 120-240 rounds on it before cleaning?

    6.5 Creedmoor semiauto loads

    Dpms in 6.5 cm. 22” Bartlein gain twist barrel. Hornady 140 ELD Match 42 grn of H4350 Hornady brass federal 210m or cci 200 primers. Not sure on velocity, but if I had to guess 2625 to 2650 range. Here’s 2 pics, one from 800 yds and then 900 yds

    300 win mag and 225 eld-m

    Hornady 225 ELDM 3 shot group at 1000. Around 4 inch vertical. Shooting off a Harris bipod and game changer as the rear bag. Also did a little testing with the new Sierra 230. Same load as the Hornady, but the Sierra’s were coming in at 70 FPS faster. They do fly more efficient through the air.
