    Why get a KRG Whiskey-3 (fixed) over an X-Ray?

    W3 was the flagship. More aluminum to the rear vs plastic. Same form factor. Xray wins budget battle. You're correct, balance point shifts with the W3. I had the XRay. The W3 felt better in that regard. Adding a monopod to the Xray will also help .

    So I decided to email Impact Precision after I heard about a friend of a friend who dropped a 737R into the JP APAC chassis . Wade @ Impact built a rifle as well. He said the 737/APAC needed no modification to come together. That's good news considering JP doesn't have a time line on delivery...

    Bartlein New Barrel Material 400MODBB

    22" Cadex in the rear is standard Bartlein 1/8 6.5 CM. KRG/Tikka is an 18" Mod400b. Both brand new. I'll report back over time. Definitely curious how either compares.
