    @Charlie112 Small firing pin is what you want. You get the most options even in the unfortunate event if you need to re-sale. Look at the classified and you will see that small firing pin gets more $'s than large.

    Either Forster or Whidden and you can go wrong. By the way, you can call their phone and someone can always "walk" you through if you have some questions.

    Tikka T3x 308 to 6.5 x 47 Lapua

    This is a Tikka .308 WIN (20 inch barrel) with nothing done to the rifle only mounted a brake and hand loading 168gr SMK on Hornady brass. Z-5 Swaro hunting scope and I don't consider myself a good shooter. Lucky day! 5 shots.

    I have a 26' Heavy Palma from PVA and it measures approx .9050 at the end, I also have CTR and it measures .8760's at 20 inches. Maybe this is of help.

    I am interested. Can somebody post what are the typical brass neck thickness of Lapua and Hornady? Is premium brass are thicker? I don't have tools to measure accurately and the reason for this post. Thks.

    Whidden dies any good?

    I have both and the forster is easier(the markings are wider on forster) to adjust for me (my opinion). Whidden dies are quality die and excellent.
