As the person I replied to indicated the fda approves drugs knowing they cause cancer as a side effect when taken. Which is simply not true. Manufacturing is a whole different ballgame not included in the lists...

    Carcinogenic studies are conducted during research. I know of several drugs that were “killed” because they were carcinogenic. Name one that was approved knowing cancer was a side effect.

    You might be surprised how quickly you adapt. It was foreign to me as well when I first shouldered my DT. Couple of range sessions later and I didn’t even think about it anymore.

    That is correct. Which is what makes the 280 ack so impressive. Near magnum performance out of a “308” sized bolt face.

    I have a 280 ackley. Similar to Bearslayer6 I'm using the 162 eldx and pushing them right around 2950 fps. More velocity to be had but the accuracy and that charge weight is excellent for me. 280 ack is great cartridge. I just bought some Peterson brass I'm going to load next. If you don't...

    He’s super busy. He quit taking new orders for awhile just so he could catch up. I’d really like to get a prefit from him for my AI, but he’s not doing those at the moment.

    I’m pushing the 230 atips just fine with 1:9. If I were planning to run the 250s I probably would’ve got a 1:8 twist.

    Like Hondo1 I am also using a 1:9 twist for my 300 prc barrel. Seems to be pretty typical for 300 prc.
