Negative... BHW In my experience over various .30 caliber cans... the Omega's blowback is on the lower side. Compare to a Saker or Specwar 7.62 or an AAC 7.62 SDN. Notice I said for my build, it's overkill... with an H2 and sometimes JP Silent capture. Suppress is as smooth as when not !- smokin.338

Honestly it depends on the can as well... running an 18" barrel Grendel and SiCo Omega. An AGB in my set up would be overkill.- smokin.338

6.5 G in a short barrel to me, doesn't make sense. I would go 6.8 SPC, especially if your looking at a 12.5" barrel...- smokin.338

Help with trigger for 7.62x39 lower
Problem with russian ammo isn't so much the harder prime is the problem as... the lack of depth of the strike. Look for a bolt that has been shorten and a longer firing pin, there are a couple of company's who do make such a thing. But they escape me right now...- smokin.338

The way the Omega is designed it has an outer sleeve over the whole can. Nothing is exposed to the outside. As suggested they will give you 2 choices when you call... either send it in on there dime (turn around is about 2 weeks to get back) or they will send you more Rocksett.
