Lightweight hunting rifle “build”
I built this one on a model 70 classic stainless featherweight. Cut the barrel to 20”, blind mag McMillan edge, tally lightweights and a Leupold 2.5-8x36. It’s 6.6 pounds as shown so you’re gonna be quite a bit heavier with the configuration you’re looking at. The fieldcraft would be my choice...- Jackalope

I like keeping axes around. I’ve felled, bucked and split with them but a saw is well worth the investment. A good double bit will serve you well.
