    Which shooting mat?

Put "shooting mats" in this forums search function & hit return. There have been tons of previous discussions on this. Here is but one example; https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/forum/sniper%C2%92s-hide%C2%AE-armory-supply/s4-sniper%C2%92s-hide%C2%AE-equipment/6565752-let-s-talk-shooting-mats

Simple economics. Tungsten would probably meet all the criteria but who could afford it? The cost of tooling to turn tungsten rod into bullets would also be much more expensive. Probably would make a hell of an ELR bullet though.....

    Movie Theater Godless

Best role I've ever seen Jeff Daniels in. Certainly better than "Dumb & Dumber lol! I'll give him points for being versitle though. Good miniseries & worth the watch. They can't make too many westerns as far as I'm concerned...

King of 2 Mile Video now up on Pursuit Channel

The only bad thing about this is once the liberals figure out we can hit shit that far away they'll be entering legislation to regulate how far we can shoot.....

Target Vision, anyone have any experience with them?

I recently purchased the 2 mile unit but so far have only used it out to 1000yds. It has performed very well, seeing hits is just as if you were standing right there at the target. I really like being able to mark the hits with different colors, really helps identify whoose hits are whoose when...

Rifle Scopes Scope Decision: Minox vs S&B

HK Dave's comparitive analysis below is one of the best I've read: https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/forum/sniper%C2%92s-hide%C2%AE-armory-supply/sniper-s-hide-rifle-scopes/6828806-tangent-theta-5-25-v-minox-5-25-v-nightforce-7-35-v-schmidt-bender-5-25-v-vortex-4-5-27

    Rifle Scopes Tangent Theta 5-25 v Minox 5-25 v Nightforce 7-35 v Schmidt & Bender 5-25 v Vortex 4.5-27

Great review. I have opportunity to frequently use (with the exception of the TT) all of the scopes reviewed & agree wholeheartedly with Dave's assessment. I know the effort he put in for such an all encompassing evaluation represents a ton of work. His commitment & enthusiasm to share his...

We load for a chilly night a little different by putting in one large round of oak on a good bed of coals which my wife calls a "chunky monkey" lol. It burns all night.

It would be easier to help you identify the meaning of the words you are asking about if you included some context they were used in however I'll take a stab at it. Bump, generally used to indicate the amount of setback to a cartridge case when reloading. Normally measured in thousandths. Up...

Debating nightforce atacr f1 5x25 vs the 7x35 for ELR

I have a 50 moa rail under a Vortex gen II 4.5-27 that gets me to 2500 yds on my .338 AI and still have a good 100 yd zero, if that helps. The 5-25 nightforce has a fair amount more elevation adjustment.

    ERL Central vs KO2M

"I am supporting ELR Central, I like the idea of standardizing this and bringing it to the masses. It's not easy, it's not cheap, but you can do it within the standards using a factory 338 and factory ammo should you choose to go that route. You may not win, but you can certainly be competitive...

Maggie’s The Woodchuck and Firewood Hoarders Thread

Unless you're running one for a living, a husky would do you just fine for heavy personal use. I've had two in my life. The 1st one ran for ten years & I sold it to buy the one I have now. I didn't even have to change the main shaft bearing until 9 years into it, amazing.

Ah, nice woodsy mountain area. Can get a fair amount of snow in the winter you bet. Good hunting there too. Good luck with the WM. That scope is a fine choice too!
