    Suppressors Form 4 wait time

You can get the finger print cards online from the ATF for free, buy an inkless pad for $7 and you're set for life. They would need to be a silencer shop dealer to do a transfer using Silencer Shops kiosk.

    Suppressors Form 4 wait time

Depends on your dealer. Some do all their transfers through silencer shop, some do outside transfers on paper and only use kiosks for silencer shop purchases.

*Rant* Why do gun "safe" manufacturers continually lie about capacities?

Making the new rack helped me with scopes rifles a ton. The standard rack made me put them atvan angle to get the scope to fit. My rack let's them be straight up and down. And by staggering the heights with risers on the bottom I can get it so the scope of one rifle doesn't interfere with the...

*Rant* Why do gun "safe" manufacturers continually lie about capacities?

Measured and spaced for my rifles. Row on the right takes 5 ARs, other rows have 4 each to give the wood stocked rifles some room. Built a box with a drawer that holds 5 handguns and goes on the right to help the SBRs reach the rack. Spent way too much time on this, but the result is a lot more...

*Rant* Why do gun "safe" manufacturers continually lie about capacities?

The storage racks that come in the safes are way too poorly designed to ever hit the stated capacity (unless they're just filling it with Beretta bobcats). I took a day and played around/took measurements and made myself a new one. Particle board, going slow with a router, cover it with carpet...

    Preferred barrel blanks (the company)

I ordered 12/15 and the site said 10-12 weeks at the time. Puts me in week 7. I believe you get an email when you barrel has started production and then it's a few weeks/month from there.

    College For The Kids

College has certainly gotten more expensive than it has any right to be, but as above there are deals to be had. In many states the state 4 year schools are required to accept the credits from community colleges. Community colleges are significantly cheaper. Our community college currently...

    Rifle primers

I've watched it again, nowhere did they say there won't be any primers shipped to consumers this year or that any primers currently available are old that have been sitting in the supply chain. What they did say, and as I had said above, is that excess capacity goes to the reloading market and...

    Rifle primers

I don't think that's exactly what he said in the video. He said primers go first to their ammo production, then reloaders and other consumers. They show them packaging and boxing up primers in the video. They definitely didn't say there won't be shipments of primers for this year, they just have...

    Rifle primers

Discord and local stores. If you're not picky you can usually find something here and there. If you're after a specific make/model you'll need a little more luck.

Funny prices I have seen on gunbroker

I saw large rifle and pistol primers on the shelf this week, $30/1k. Didn't buy any as I didn't need any. 🤷‍♂️ Lots of places taking back orders at reasonable prices, if I order before I'm out then I should be fine. What I don't like it the smaller dealers that aren't putting anything on shelves...

    Bighorn Origin Build Thread

I'm running a BDL setup. I had mine cut for a wyatts box locally and run 6.5 PRC out of it. I didn't have to touch the feed rails, mostly just fiddled with the box and follower so it wouldn't hang up. This was before they had a PRC specific follower. Anyway, it feeds well. If you were running a...

Forming 6.5 PRC out of ???

Lapua available on backorder from creedmoor sports and euor optic. As far as forming, the 300 RCM is technically the parent case. I believe it is longer at the shoulder and would require some working and neck turning. By the time you buy the brass and the equipment....well, I'd just wait for a...

AI AT Bolt Stuck 6.5 CM

I'd probably reach out to Hornady with the lot # on that 30-06, they like to know about that kind of thing.

    $1500 308 bolt action rifle.

Another tikka CTR vote. Should be around $900-$1,000, add the rest to your glass budget or ammo.

    Preferred barrel blanks (the company)

I've had great luck with criterion and didn't have reason to look elsewhere until recently. I wanted to get a lighter barrel to practice with my hunting rifle more in the off season. Stock is cut for a rock creek #2. Criterion wasn't willing to go lighter than the NSS sporter contour. Didn't...

    Primers on GB insane !

I feel bad for the people who feel the need to pay $100+ for primers. Anything on the shelf over $35 and I leave them. I don't need them that bad. I'm also not just starting out and started my election year stock up late last year. Glad I bought powder right before election day though because...

Building a 280 AI for long range which bullet

I'd go with the accubonds. We can plan for long shots all day, but if one kicks up 25 yards out I'd want the confidence that my bullet could take impact at near muzzle velocity. For me, a bonded core or monolithic bullet gives me that confidence.

Bell and Carlson has a few ADL models, but otherwise in agreement

    Budget R700 Stock

Grayboe is a solid choice too. They and red hawk rifles just had 20% off for black friday which put some of their models around $270. Straight value it's hard to beat the Magpul, especially if the current rifle is an ADL and you'd have to drop money on bottom metal that's normally $100-$150...
