    I won a proof SS 6mm barrel, it shoots crazy good. Cut rifled 5groove similar rifling shape to the 5r, very happy.

    Thought id touch back, final load development with tbn coated 115dtac&4451 .015jump bartlein .237 25" gain finish around 7.77tw ran it @ 41.3@3040 for 500rnds with great results but decided i was pushing the top end. dropped to 40.2@2940 only loosing 2.7" drift@1000yd super stable load again...

    Was looking at my mil/mil dev-L, Not sure why the main windage is .5 and 1 mil but the rest is .2 mil. im sure I'll get used to it and other than that I really like the reticle. Also the illumination is very crisp

    Sitting here playing with my new 4-24 mil/mil dev-L. I love everything about the reticle besides that the main wind bar is full and half mil while the holdover wind bars are .2 id have rather seen .25mil but I'll get used to it. the illumination is so crisp!

    If you were dedicated to running dtacs around .020 jump(where most run them) you be looking for .170ish FB. also if you don't want to turn necks get at least a .273 . the .272 is to tight, I ended up turning necks and running dtacs from a .093fb but I'd love to run it out to .170

    If they very more than a couple thousandths you may start to see some vertical dispersion, even at 100 yards. .002 probably won't be an issue

    Question about the new 6 mm Berger Hybrid

    Yup, Berger figures if your at sea level you need say a 7.8 (or whatever twist) so they round down to the next whole number 1:7 (sorta dumb) If you run your perimeters in bergers stability calculator at 3000ft alt 3000fps I think it says 1:8 is ideal. Load um up!

This is my first AR, it has a standard single stage in it with spring kit. I tuned it to a pretty crisp 3.5#. Id like it to break...

    Thanks for the help guys I might go with a jard single stage to save $ and hassle. That Geissele sounds neat tho! I might have to try one some time. I'm new to two stage triggers(and ar's) The trigger I tried was a factory bushmaster but not like any factory bushmaster I've tried..

    Pressure issue with warm barrel???

    As your barrel warms up so does your chamber, you chamber a round and let it set there for a minute before you shoot and it warms to chamber temp 110* 120*F. This could be an explanation for your factory ammo. Good luck.

    Anyone shooting a lilja 3 grove barrel?

    I have a handfull of Lilja barrels(all shooters), two of them 6mm 3 grooves chambered in 6x47Laupa That Both shoot fantastic!! My 8 twist has shot 1.1" 500yd groups and taken prairie dogs past 1000yds. I will be using Lilja 3 grooves for feature builds
