    Elite Hunter vs Hybrid

    The Berger 175 EH works great out of my 7 SAUM. Taking it for elk again this year. I'm using them in 7 SAUM and 7 PRC (no blood on the PRC yet).

    What did you do in the reloading room today?

    Prepped some 6.5 PRC fired brass and loaded up some test loads with the 156 EOL. If it flings them well out of the 20” I’ll use it on cow elk this fall.

    I always just start with seating the TTSX with the first band even with the top of the neck. Usually don’t have to move it much.

    Don’t sleep on N560. Its great with a 140 in my PRC

    Short barrel 6.5 prc

    I hit 2,950 with a 140 elite hunter in my 20” 6.5PRC with 58.3 grains N560. Lapua virgin brass, F210M loaded to 2.950” COAL. Barrel only had 30 rounds down the pipe when I took it hunting. Might pick up some speed soon once it settles in.

    I’m switching to F210M or 215M primers and going to try some N560 this fall. See what I can get out of it. 60.0 R23 got me 2,870 which was almost 100 fps faster than the 58.5 velocity.
