I have several Nanooks, they are great, smooth actions. The Nanook has a trigger hanger, which is great for trigger install. Make sure your stock is inlet for it...
Prepped some 6.5 PRC fired brass and loaded up some test loads with the 156 EOL. If it flings them well out of the 20” I’ll use it on cow elk this fall.
What elevation are you using?
Just bought 500 of the 133’s from Ryan Pierce and still have a 20” barrel and action so debating between a 25 creed and a 25 PRC. Hunting rifle
I hit 2,950 with a 140 elite hunter in my 20” 6.5PRC with 58.3 grains N560. Lapua virgin brass, F210M loaded to 2.950” COAL. Barrel only had 30 rounds down the pipe when I took it hunting. Might pick up some speed soon once it settles in.
I’m switching to F210M or 215M primers and going to try some N560 this fall. See what I can get out of it.
60.0 R23 got me 2,870 which was almost 100 fps faster than the 58.5 velocity.
