Whats an AR-TEL M21 scope actually worth?

Re: Whats an AR-TEL M21 scope actually worth? Just the scope, or the base mount also? Does yours have an "X" prefix on it? Which reticle is in yours, there were several designs. There's one in a pawn shop in Mena Ar. that's got a $250.00 price tag on it, an original. Been there for years...

    Is 1 M.O.A Enough.

Re: Is 1 M.O.A Enough. Kraig,I found the comment to be kinda ill informed. Mine is a vintage 1986 unit and still maintained its accuracy because I knew how to maintain it, and what NOT to do to it. The only reason mine was rebedded in 2003 wass to put it into a new stock, using modern...

"You Want HOW MUCH For That?" **RANT**

Re: "You Want HOW MUCH For That?" **RANT** Isn't it just as strange to think that the house I paid $21,250.00 for in Sept 1971 should be sold for that when it appraised for 8x that value recently? Purchase price isn't tied to sales price by any known convention. As previously stated, best...

    Question for the M1A guys

Re: Question for the M1A guys you caught me in a senior moment Kraig. DIVIDED is right. I do the easy way for me, range in 100's as a decimal value X wind value, just didn't express it correctly. example; range in 100's 600 yards = .6 X wind value for hold correction in moa. Same value...

    Question for the M1A guys

Re: Question for the M1A guys 175's at 2500. I use H4895, Winj brass and WLR primers. Accurate at all ranges and wind is easy. Range in 100's (yards) X velocity and you have your basic wind hold. An M1A will teach you that faster isn't always better

    First Post/Long range .308 question

Re: First Post/Long range .308 question Get the rifle that fits. Remington does a better job at consistant accuracy, savage tends to wander about when going from clean to dirty. I'm not a fan of the stock savage chrome barrels. The stainless stuff is in a different league. The glass stocked...

    S&A M1A Supermatch cleaning?

Re: S&A M1A Supermatch cleaning? No need to remove from the stock to clean. However, the "occasional removal won't do any harm, and the rifle will return to zero. One method of cleaning; The obvious, remove mag, verify chamber clear and unloaded. Lock bolt rearward, tilt rifle muzzle up...

    Danner Acadia's

Gunsmithing Help with a (broken?) M1A Super Match **Update**

Re: Help with a (broken?) M1A Super Match Supermatch rifles from the 1980's had no rear lug. Didn't need to read that on the internet, just went to the safe and pulled one out. I am surprised to see that Springfield let that out of the shop looking like that though. My August 1986 supermtch...

    Reloader 15 in .308

Re: Reloader 15 in .308 I switched from Varget to Rl-15 for 2 years. Switched back to Varget and stayed there. In casual shooting and F class stuff there was always that unexplained flyer and group sizes that could have been just a bit better. Going back to varget solved the issues for me...
