    Re: WOW @ Savage....coming to bat big time! Always viewed Savage a good starter rifle until something better came along. Then I picked up an LRPV in 223 rem with 1:7 twist because the range we shot at is restricted to 223 only. That rifle is more accurate than a few of the full on customs...

    Re: 1 pound of varget equals .... Sounds as though you paid 27% too much for your powder, and forgot to amortize your brass cost over the life of the case. @ 0.18c per case X 10 loads that would be 0.018c per case in the cost per round calcs.

    Re: moly how to remove it any penetrating crud remover and a bronze brush will take it out of the barrel. GM top engine lube, kroil, marvel mystery oil ( my personal favorite ) and some small amount of time with a brush and bore guide and your naked all over again.

    Re: Power Pistol Powder for 45 ACP take a look at longshot for the 45. I use it for fast 124 grain 9mm and 1000fps 200gr 45 acp. no pressure, pistols both cycle like they're shooting blanks, meters consistantly on the dillon.
