Hunting & Fishing Any one hunt with hornady A-tips?

Yessir they are, I love them, and you cannot beat the price. I bought almost a thousand of them a while back, just to make sure the boy has hunting ammo for life.

Hunting & Fishing Any one hunt with hornady A-tips?

This is my son's hunting rifle, he's been hunting with it since he was 12. It's a 16" 260 Remington, arguably more underpowered than an 18" 6.5CM, particularly when shooting the 120-grain bullets that this little rifle craves and shoots so well. He has killed 4 mule deer and one cow elk with it...

Underpowered? A 6.5 at 100 yds with an 18" barrel?

Not sure what you mean, it is my picture, but I didn't post it here. I never said it was busy, I like it.

    Tumbling Solid bullets?

This is the same point I outlined in the link; if the bullets aren't tumbling, then how are they causing so much impressive damage?

    Tumbling Solid bullets?

That seems like your making Taylor's point, if you can't prove that bullets tumble, then you cannot prove that they don't either. There are countless videos of stabilized bullets hitting ballistic targets and they are clearly tumbling. If you don't accept that because its not flesh and bone, how...

    Tumbling Solid bullets?

Excellent point. I think finding a bullet backwards (boat-tail forward and opened meplat to the rear of direction of travel) in an animal is more than enough evidence to show that at least some bullets, tumble sometimes.

I totally forgot to put this picture up here, but I managed to smoke a decent pronghorn antelope buck here in Utah with my SRS M2 and ES Tactical 6GT barrel. If you need some bathroom reading material you can read the whole thing here

    25 Creedmoor

+1 for the Alpha guys being outstanding, I've been using their brass and reamers for a bit now. I think i still have the first box of 25CM headstamped brass. As far as the bushing, I use a .281, and I kind wish i had a .282.

You may want to move that scope up a ways, and straighten your cheek rest ;)

    25 Creedmoor

That was the number they advertised, but Miles openly told me that the number was overly conservative.

    25 Creedmoor

^This. I always used .340 and was DFN on everything out to around a mile. Reliable enough to put a cold bore impact on a mule deer at just over 1100 yds and put him right down. Velocity was always great even from my 22" Xcaliber, I was always 2900+ with no pressure signs and .5 and typically...
