    I just checked my ss 5-20 and I have 34 mils of elevation travel. Compared to other tactical scopes, these SWFA scopes have TONS of elevation adjustment.

    I would recommend the vendors/sponsors on this forum, as well as SWFA. You mentioned that you were close to SWFA, and it appears that you are in TX, so I'd buy from a source outside of TX so you aren't having to slap tax on top of the price of those premium scopes.

    One thing that I noticed from the picture above is that the elevation knob looks a lot like the SWFA SS 5-20 HD knob. If this scope was on the same level as the SWFA HD scope, it's probably a really good scope. I know this random thought posted, but just giving my $.02.

    Small update. I contacted SWFA and sent my scope in for an inspection. The gal I spoke with said they'd send me a new one, but they are currently back ordered. I'll update this thread once I get the new one and have a chance to inspect it.
