    The smoothest action.

My understanding is the Bighorn is designed for field use. The floating bolt head means they could add clearance between the bolt body and action for reliability when dirty while maintaining very tight and repeatable lockup. The floating bolt head also eliminates or at least mitigates bolt...

    The smoothest action.

There's no compromise in accuracy. Whether or not you get a perfect "return to zero" is a different question, but if done properly a switch barrel system works just as well as standard shouldered barrels. Even better, Josh at Patriot Valley Arms will spin you up shouldered barrels for a Bighorn...

    The smoothest action.

Not much to contribute here since the only custom action I've handled is my TL3 (which is awesome), but when I was considering coatings, I talked to a guy at Bighorn and he said he actually coats his with just plain ole' Cerakote, which he smooths on the inside of the action with a flex ball...

    Range finder

I've got a Kilo 2200 and it's fantastic. WAY more responsive than my buddy's Leica 1600. If I was you, I'd look at the Kilo 2200 and the ConX and that would probably be it in that price range.

Really Right Stuff Dovetail Pic Rail Clamp Video

Awesome. I think the dual-mount adapter is perfect for my Harris, but originally I was envisioning this sort of mount since I have a Picatinny adapter on my Harris and I could definitely see people wanting it. The idea was to have something I can slide on my MPA forearm, but also use on my...

Really Right Stuff Dovetail Pic Rail Clamp Video

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. Not sure if I'd prefer that to the dual-mount with thumbscrew but would be interested in both.

Really Right Stuff Dovetail Pic Rail Clamp Video

Very cool, just ordered the Harris dual-clamp. Any plans for a clamp with a mounting point for bipods setup for picatinny?

    Stock Pack recommend?

You can definitely add a spacer. I also think the PIG Tactical stock pack I linked in a prior post might be a little shorter just from eyeballing photos (see below, PIG first then Triad), but hard to say. I'm really happy with mine and definitely preferred it to the other Velcro ones I tried...

    Stock Pack recommend?

I tried a small handful (the other ones I can remember were Larue and Voodoo Tactical) and the PIG Tactical was the best for sure, especially at staying in place. The "Hypalon" material holding the cords in place is very grippy. If you need to increase the height more, you can layer neoprene or...

    ARC M10 or Seekins/Vortex PMR

Lowlight and the gang have explicitly said the ARC rings are NOT "vertically split" in the sense of the Larue/ADM, etc rings they were looking at. The ARC rings are good to go, look great and are very easy to install.

    American Rifle Company Mags

Just my experience, but a couple hundred rounds with these mags through a Bighorn TL-3 mounted in an MPA chassis with zero issues.

    PIG0311-G Field Tripod

Yeah I got the same setup. It's sweet, the only problem is that the leveling base starts to come unscrewed from the center column stud when I look the leveling base really tight and then try to unlock it. Instead of the leveling base unlocking, the leveling base starts to come off the center...

    PIG0311-G Field Tripod

I recently got this tripod and the universal RRS leveling base, which clamps onto my MPA chassis. The setup works great, the only thing I have trouble with is keeping the leveling base from starting to come unscrewed when I have it locked up really tight and then try to unlock it. I used some...

Sweet looking piece. Here's mine, went the PDW route with a 5" barrel and Maxim Defense stock.

AR 9 anybody build one? thoughts tips advice

This. They're a lot of fun and once you've got it up and running they're pretty damn reliable, but component selection can be a little finicky. There are a number of triggers, for example, that just won't work with certain 9mm bolts. My personal build uses a JP 9mm Enhanced Bolt and 9mm...

RRS level base hog tripod used with spotter and rifle

Nice, just ordered that exact setup today (minus the Pig Saddle, I'm also direct mounting) so glad to hear it's working well for you.

    Armageddon Gear tripod sling

I got one recently and like it so far. Haven't used it much, but like everything I've bought from Armageddon Gear it seems well designed and made. Anything you specifically want to know?

    6.5x47L vs 6.5cm question

Wonder if that's cause the x47 groups are always handloads? Hard to compare.

Really Right Stuff Atlas Bipod Modification

They actually originally advertised the chassis cuts as RRS cuts. Not sure why they couldn't get a lever to work very well, guessing they couldn't make one strong enough to handle recoil at the price point they wanted but really not sure.

Really Right Stuff Atlas Bipod Modification

Masterpiece Arms just put out a product like that (RAT Base with Harris Adapter), but it's thumbscrew only. Al said they had too many problems with their lever prototypes.
