    Rifle Scopes Spuhr Mount, Oil on Rail (Base) ?

    My first guess would be to prevent rust under the mount if it was going on something that was not an aluminum/alloy. Other than that, I’m not seeing why it is necessary.

    Suppressors Legality question

    Many folks purchase.30 cal suppressors just so they can do what you’re asking. A .30 cal allows one to shoot .223, .243. .260,.308, .300WM if it’s approved for their can. This method provides tons of diversity, and the sound difference isn’t huge when firing a .223 through a .30 cal hole.

    Yes they do Sir. I just shipped 2 AR-15’s back to Lancer. I had them on a T&E. The lady at UPS asked me what they were, I said “rifles.” She never batted an eye. Loaded them on the belt and away they went.

    For a pure hunting scope, that’s an AWESOME choice. Can’t think you’ll be disappointed. Remember....if you want to dial, you need to be at full power. Otherwise you have to make fractional adjustments based on what power you are in with a SFP.
