F T/R Competition Spartan Precision FT-R gun...I am almost there!

Once in a while for a lil more trigger time I like to shoot F-Class in FT-R (308win or 223 only), but my Newman 308win with a 24" barrel lobbing 175s wasn't exactly the right tool for the job. I asked Marc with Spartan Precision to build me a dedicated F-Class barreled action to launch 155gn...

    Kuhl pants?

These are my favorite pair of paints for shooting and every day use. My oldest pair is 2 + years old and has held up fine to all the shooting activities and backpacking. Vu

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

We do 18 matches a year. 20.00 for the LR matches, and 30.00 for the steel matches. No prizes, just trophies for the winner and his or hers cash back. Sounds like you and your fellow tac shooters need to get together to find out how you guys can get more events out there.

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

LOL...since when did match fees depend on prize tables? GD Stone...my bad, not Turbo. it cost just as much to have you in a match taking last place as it does the first place winner. Think about it...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

LOL...you guys kill me. The lil "power ranking" system was just a simple tool to give MDs a way to compare their round count, COF, and number of competitors to other matches around the country. I believe this is a decent system because it takes the human emotional factor out. Those have shot...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

What kind of barrel life do you think we can get? Nothing is going to be perfected over night, but I am game to work on anything that can help shooters at the local level and grow the sport.

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

Jedi, There has always been a debate of how events should be rated. The facts are not all are created equal. Some are great, most are good, and then you have a few that need a lil TLC. Before you nail down the slope, you need to have an idea of what the high, low, and average is. Like I...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

Interesting numbers. AZ: 691 NorCal: 680.5 LV: 485.5 Looking at these numbers people would think OH well LV is blah blah blah. Well if you take into account they didn't run competitors to their full capacity or a full day of shooting like AZ and Norcal, their event is right in line. When I...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

You know shit would work "mo betta" with everyone trying to pull in the same direction on this one. =) I am personal friends with the AZ/LV guys and understand where they are coming from. Trust me, I get my panties wadded up when someone dings NorCal or our events. It's natural. The scoring...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

I don't think it has anything to do with COD or whatever. Let's face it. The precision rifle game isn't cheap to begin with. It is hardware intensive if you want to compete at a high level. This is not like IDPA where you drop some coin on a holster, glock, mags/mag pouches, belt, and go for...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

Here are our club stats for 2012 and 2013. Scroll to the bottom of each month and you can see what people are running. Back in the day 3 to 4 years ago we would tell the noobie to buy a 308win, but now we just tell them to buy a 6.5CM. Ammo is cheaper per box and performance is way better...
