    I would check out the vortex pst 2.5-10x 44. Exposed turrets, clean reticle, light weight but stong, clear glass and unbeatable warranty. 10X would get you out to 300 and 2.5x would give you great field of view for hunting

    I can't give any input on those, but I never miss an opportunity to give a recommendation for the vortex razor. I have the 5-20 with the simple and clean ebr2 reticule and love it. They're just introducing a 3-18 and a 4.5 - 27. Might be worth looking at if you're open to other options
