    Depending on how deep you cut into the buttstock area you may or may not reach the hollow cavity back there. Your best bet would be to build up or add the hook you want for your hand onto the bottom of the stock

    432 yard shot

    Nice shooting and nice rifle. The target is too soft. Those craters will send bullets back your way at one point or another. The further you shoot it from the better. Ask me how I know!!

    Try 43.5 gr of varget with a 175 smk, cci primer at 2.8 oal. Anything above that was too hot.

    My vote goes to defiance. Even though any of the top builders can make a great rifle with any of the actions mentioned. The defiance is tops when it comes to fit and finish in my opinion.
