    Corn being made into ethanol has very little effect on supply of food. The dried distiller grains are a by product and that is used to feed animals. So you get the ethanol and the feed. We need workers to slaughter animals and drive trucks. That’s where the shortages are.

    That damage was probably done from forcing the bolt closed and galling the lugs.

    Ram is more of a cool kid status thing. If he just needs a truck for work and play I would recommend a gm with 6.6 gas in a stripped down work truck. Crew cab 2500 x31 4x4 with decent equipment and a REAL key for about $57000 out the door.

    Just store the primed brass like you would store a primer and you will be good to go!

    I am just a backyard target shooter but out of all the pistols I have the cz shadow is my favorite. Comfortable and fun to shoot. No comparison to my Glock 17 or Springfield xd.

    I just completed a trial and settled on 6.4 grains of hs-6. It’s yielding 1200fps out of my cz shadow.

    I am looking to load the 124 rmr hollow point in mixed head stamp brass on a XL750. I would like to be on the higher velocity end of the load but still safe. Will be using wsp primers. Should I go with Hodgdon HS-6 or Winchester 231?

    I would not thread the muzzle 1/2-28. Does not leave enough material at the muzzle for best accuracy. Why have a 3/4” diameter or more and then remove a bunch of material at the muzzle where the bullet exits? 5/8-24 is king imo or don’t thread it at all.

    Lots of good info here. I would suggest like many others 223 Wylde with a 7 twist at 24” and the muzzle threaded 5/8-24. 50 grain vmax all the way up to 88 eld will shoot well.

    Straight barrel is what I run. Weight is good for less movement and it’s cheaper.

    I suggest going with 5/8-24 muzzle threads. The 1/2/28 leaves very little meat at the end of the barrel.

    budget AR build help

    Every psa upper I have has shot flawlessly and been sub Moa. Just ordered 4 more so we will see about those. Been having good luck with their 18” SS Wylde chamber barrels.
