    Contour questions

Alot of times the medium type contours are as accurate as the rest of the medium type contours. I have a RemVar, 3b, and some #4s. By far my favorite is the #4. 3b at 22" is still plenty front heavy in a Mcmillan. I think the #4 balances better in a hunting type stock instead of a light...

Help me choose the best hunting system (tripod/bipod/etc)

I use a Spartan Bipod for hunting. I have shot 15 lb rifles off of it with no problem. I also dont shoot the ELR calibers, this is with normal hunting rifle calibers.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Long Range Shotgun Advice

Thats definately not great. You could try a wad stipping non constricting choke. Here in the US its Patternmaster.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Long Range Shotgun Advice

Lead BB or T would be great. Plenty of power, more pellets, and a denser pattern. To see if you want to go modified or full, youre just going to have to pattern it. Full and BB usually works out well as long as its lead, you dont want to shove large steel shot thru a full choke.

Scope has more elevation than it should?

Well thats better than having your Mils get lost in your Leupold. https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/the-leupold-mark5-claims-34-9-mils-of-adjustment-but-the-turret-clearly-only-travels-from-0-to-30.7103241/

    Darwin visits my house.

I got my thumb caught between a D32 diesel hammer (about 35k #) and a driven HPile. It burst the tip of my thumb off between the first joint and nail while about 60' deep in the ground. It didn't really hurt much with the adrenaline running to get up the ladder. It sure looked like it hurt...

    I need some help

I have seen where the Bell and Carlson stocks did more bad than good. Check and make sure your barrel isnt touching. Im assuming shooting off a bipod? Put in in a table, load the bipod and see if your barrel still clears. Is the scope base stock? Maybe oil under the base. I have never had a...

Can anyone figure out this problem eith CAT D3?

Anything after a cable dozer and before electronics. A case 450G is also a fantastic little dozer they are pretty bullet proof and cheaper than a 3.

Can anyone figure out this problem eith CAT D3?

On a 3 there is usually no maintenance. Keep the tracks adjusted, grease, and oil. They will run forever. However its pretty time consuming taking in a project more than landscaping with an old 3.

Can anyone figure out this problem eith CAT D3?

Looks to me like that plug is cut to have a 1/2 drive socket inserted for removal like most final drive checks or fills. Have you taken that plug out? Could be as simple as an o ring that has gone out beind the plug face.

Night Vision Best NOD helmet for the money?

Definately this. HHV does have a new ballistic helmet made in USA coming, hopefully they actually get it tested instead of in house testing. However, I do have some trust in them in less than professional use. They make no claims trying to hide what they have or who builds it. I believe they...

Night Vision Best NOD helmet for the money?

Well the most comfortable bump I have tried is an HHV. Wish it had a ratchet retention. TW is pretty comfortable with 4D pads, OPS core was terrible, didnt try any pads. I dont have or have ever tried a ballistic.
