    LMT MWS – Ejected Cases With Cut Marks

    Adjustable gas blocks won't work as MWS gas ports are drilled at an angle. This is what i did to fix overgassing on my 308 barrel. Remove the gas block (you may need to apply some heat), then drill and tap it for a long grub screw. Now it's adjustable, problem solved.

    LMT .308 MWS

    Gave my LMT MWS 308 a full strip and clean today. I checked out the LMT site for the usual consumable spart parts. Mine is an earler model and has a one piece gas ring. LMT only lists; 308 inner gas ring, 308 outer gas ring? Has the gas ring design changed?

    LMT .308 MWS

    Picked up this LMT MWS 308 with 20' CL barrel today (minus the suppressor, not allowed in my State). It will be a while before i get hands on, licensing, ect. in this country just got a whole lot slower with COVID19.
