    Re: New rig for competive tactical shooting One thing to consider is that most match directors will only allow a 300 WM as the largest caliber. Using proper bullets, the 300WM will do mile shots easily, but so will the 243's, 260's, and 7 WSM's.

    Re: 6mm crusader, 264 win mag or 7 rem mag??? I didn't have any come apart at just over 3350, but they didn't shoot all that hot at all. Seems like 3200-3275 is a sweet zone and then the 2950-3150 range as well. I run them now at 3247 in one rifle and 3150 in another.

    Re: SHWW Group There are quite a few places in Capitol Forest that a guy can get out to 1500+yds. Pretty sure Tightgroup is shooting a 308. Most of the elevations are under 1000'. 37 MOA gets me to 1350yds at 700'ASL. Probably right at 1k with a 308 depending on the load.
